The Guild usually meets on the third Tuesday of the month from September to May (except December) at Chatelech Secondary School in Sechelt. Monthly meetings encourage an open information exchange about wood, woodworking, tools and methods. This provides an opportunity to share experiences, ideas, techniques and is for the mutual enjoyment for members and guests. A program of special interest, presented by the Education Committee, is featured at each meeting, . Guests and new members are always welcome.
The next Suncoast Woodcrafters Guild 2024/25 regular

at Chatelech Secondary School Library
5904 Cowrie Street, Sechelt
PROGRAM
Precise Measurements and Layouts are Essential
The program in February will be delivered by two of our own knowledgeable members. It will begin with a short video and continue with a PowerPoint presentation that gives an overview of recommended measuring and layout tools, best-practice techniques and practical tips for improving the accuracy of measurements in your workshop. A selection of tools will be made available for inspection and discussion.
Questions and comments from members will be encouraged throughout the presentation. We’re confident that even those members who have tons of shop experience will enjoy the evening and go home with some new knowledge and useful measuring and layout tricks.
